How we work together
I know how tough a disordered relationship with food and movement can be, and also how life-changing recovery is. That’s why I do this work.
Many of the women I work with have turned to food rules, control, perfectionism, or emotional suppression to create a sense of stability — often in response to overwhelming expectations, anxiety, or feeling out of control. This can be shaped by past experiences, family dynamics, or stressful moments in life. These patterns can bring short-term relief, but over time, they disconnect you from your body, your needs, and yourself.
This work is both deep and practical — a combination of understanding and doing. While I don’t offer therapy, the work is often therapeutic in nature. I’ll support you in uncovering what’s beneath your struggles, while also helping you shift the patterns that keep you stuck.
My approach
I work with an integrative framework that includes:
Transactional Analysis (TA) — understanding inner patterns and relationship dynamics
Parts work — learning to work with different parts of yourself (inner child, protective parts, healthy adult) and strengthening self-leadership
Cognitive behavioral tools — recognizing and shifting unhelpful thought patterns
Emotion regulation skills — learning to tolerate, process and express emotions
Exposure work — gently practicing with fear foods or situations to reduce anxiety
Mindfulness and body-based awareness — building presence and self-connection
Somatic therapy — reconnecting with your body, safety and internal signals
Identity work — reconnecting with who you are beyond control, perfectionism and coping patterns
Psychoeducation — understanding how your nervous system, emotions and eating patterns work
These tools support you in learning how to recognize urges without immediately reacting to them, stay with discomfort instead of pushing it away, respond to yourself with care instead of punishment, reconnect with your body, and make choices that come from who you truly are, not from fear, pressure or old patterns.
Person first, always
What matters most to me is that our work feels like a collaboration. You're not a diagnosis or a set of symptoms. You're a whole person, with insight, strength, and the capacity to grow.
We move together. I bring my knowledge, care, and guidance; you bring your lived experience and everything that’s already inside you.
Whether you're just beginning to question your relationship with food, or you've been on this path for a while, I’ll meet you where you are. In steps that feel doable. At your pace.
