How we work together
I know how tough a disordered relationship with food and movement can be — and how life-changing recovery is. That’s why I do this work.
Many of the women I work with have turned to food rules, control, perfectionism, or emotional restraint to create a sense of stability — often in response to overwhelming expectations, anxiety, or feeling out of control. This can be shaped by past experiences, family dynamics, or stressful moments in life. These patterns can bring short-term relief, but over time, they disconnect you from your body, your needs, and yourself.
In our work, we look at the full picture: your habits, thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and needs. We begin with what feels difficult right now — what brings tension, fear, or pressure — and just as importantly, what you long for instead. How do you want to feel, live, and relate to food, your body, and yourself? We explore the story behind the patterns, so you can begin to respond with more choice and softness.
My approach
My approach is integrative and depth-oriented. I bring in insights and tools inspired by models like ACT, cognitive behavioral psychology, and parts work (IFS), as well as behavior change research and emotionally attuned practices like mindfulness and inner child work — all woven together with my own lived experience and training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. These approaches support practical shifts, while also helping you better understand what’s behind certain patterns. While I don’t offer therapy, the work is often therapeutic in nature.
You’ll learn how to recognize urges without reacting to them. How to stay with discomfort instead of pushing it away. How to cope in ways that support you — not punish you. How to understand what you really need, rather than falling back into old patterns. To trust your body again: to listen, respond, and care for it — not from fear, but from respect. And to make choices that come from who you are, not from pressure or the need to prove something. I’m here to support you in becoming more aware, making choices that feel right for you, and reconnecting with the part of you that knows what you need — the part that’s grounded, wise, and able to care for you, even if it feels far away right now.
This work is both deep and practical — a combination of understanding and doing. I’ll support you in uncovering what’s beneath your struggles, while also helping you shift the patterns that keep you stuck. So you don’t just understand what’s happening, but you’ll begin to live differently.
Person first, always
What matters most to me is that our work feels like a collaboration. You're not a diagnosis or a set of symptoms. You're a whole person, with insight, strength, and the capacity to grow.
We move together. I bring knowledge, care, and guidance; you bring your lived experience and everything that’s already inside you.
Whether you're just beginning to question your relationship with food, or you've been on this path for a while, I’ll meet you where you are. In steps that feel doable. At your pace.
